NEW DELHI — Over 7,300 households have been granted ownership rights, and over 4.1 lakh individuals have registered for the PM-Unauthorized Colony in Delhi Awas Adhikar Yojna (PM-UDAY), according to Union Minister Hardeep Puri on Saturday. On October 29, 2019, Pm Uday DDA was announced to provide inhabitants of Delhi’s 1,731 illegal colonies (UCs) ownership rights.

The DDA has been designated as the nodal agency for the project, which delineates the borders of these UCs with the assistance of the Survey of India and the Delhi government’s Revenue Department using 2015 satellite imagery.
